At church, we began a new sermon series on the book of Isaiah who gave him a vision of what happens to a country that rebells against him.

A vision is something given by God of events that will take place in the future of both good and evil and in the vision of Isaiah God tells the reason why these things were going to happen to the nation of Judah.

Today we no longer have visions or prophecies of future events because we were given his Word (bible) that tells us what is going to happen in the future.

Theres many today who claim they have visions or can give prophecies, may I say as kindly as I can, their liars.

Thats about as kindly as I can say it,  these modern day prophets or visionaries reject what scripture says,  those things were only given to Old Testament saints and to the Apostles. After the bible was completed, so were visions and prophecies, as well as tongues which ended also.

Isaiah is told that when a nation rejects God one of the first things that will happen is evil men will over run their nation Ch. 1

Morality in our country seems to be almost non-existent, our government is just as immoral and corrupt as any communist country ever was.  They lie and lie to the American people, I’ve come to the point that if a politician opens their mouth, their lying.

We have the killing of babies and the elderly,  drive by shootings and every evil thing one can think of, but God said in Isaiah that when a nation rebels against God, this is the outcome.

Secondly Isaiah says your nation will be taken over by foreigners,  our borders are a war zone, literally, theres even a sheriff down in Arizona that says we might have to abandon certain cities that are being taken over by drug warlords while our pathedic excuse of a president does nothing, but invite more illegals here.

But again, God says these things will happen to a nation that rebels against him.

We have Muslims building mosques everywhere,  may I say, that every nation where Muslims began to build, they eventually invaded,  then slaughtered the people who weren’t Muslim.

The twin towers was a warning shot, the Mosque that they want to build is a monument to their defeating America, the Dems who want it built are either Muslim themselves or sympathizers, or they know this will help in destroying America.

We have to remember the bible says there will be a one world religion,  which I believe will be Muslim,  and that it will be headed by a world ruler, who is Satan.

If you look at scripture, its all coming together to the end of the church age,  people need to come to Jesus Christ and get saved before its too late.

We think this country has lost its mind, and the truth is, it has,  their following Satan who is getting ready to take his place as this worlds ruler, if only for a short time.

Even Irans president  IWANTA JIHAD has said that their waiting for their great prophet who will destroy anyone who is not a Muslim

America needs to return to God,  don’t delay,  theres not much time left,  with every Mosque being built, means we’re that much closer to Armageddon.

Beginning in a new church takes allot of time and energy. We’ve been remodeling our little cabin out back of the church and we have everything ready for the carpet and next week the new roof should be started.

Its been a pleasure being apart of our new church the past few months. We seem to fit like a glove, their already learning to pick on us.

Thats always a sure fire way of knowing that their beginning to care and accept us as their friends.

Pastoring should be a relationship with his congregation, not a dictatorship,  or him being the boss or the one who makes all the decisions.

A pastor and his wife ought to be friends with the congregation as well as the shepard.

Theres too many in the ministry that treat the church as their own personal business, or their own bank account.

They expect the congregation to believe exactly as he & his wife do and if they don’t then their not very spiritual.

God really isn’t interested in having churches full of spiritual giants, how do I know that?  Because no where in scripture does he say that everyone should be.

Instead what I find is him telling us to become mature and humble servants.

Thats what we’re missing today, Christians (including pastors) who will admit their sinners and struggle with sin, but who are thankful for Gods grace and his forgiveness.

We have so many today who act as though they never sin or have a bad thought and everything they do is perfect, their children and their spouse walk on water.

Give me a break.

The only one who ever walked on this earth without sin,  was Christ

What we need in the church is more servants,  theres allot of work to be done, and very few servants willing to work.

Thank God for his grace, we are a people who need it, because we all fail so often

You never know how the Lord is going to work. I thought that I would never be the pastor of a church again, I thought I would just fill in, do my blog that I haven’t had much time for and just attend a church somewhere.

Last week, I was voted in at Faith Bible (the same name of my last church, different towns) as their pastor. My head is still swirling a bit.

Tomorrow Sunday July 18th will be my first sermon in my new role, I will keep working and commute there until the Lord shows us what he wants us to do, move there or whatever.

I’m excited to be able to preach on a consistent basis and hopefully the Lord will bless us and the church with growth both spiritually and in numbers.

They’re great people who have accepted us in with the love of the Lord and  we hope we can take the things we’ve learned over the past few years and apply it to this church.

The Board has been very honest and open about the church which I appreciate, nothing hidden or you find out the Sunday that you start of problems.

They also have a large building separate from the church that will make a great house for us to stay in on weekends where we can spend some time with them and get to know the area.

Gods been good to us, and I’m thankful we serve a God who never leaves us and is willing to use us if we’re willing to be used.

God can use you too, if your willing, all you have to do is ask him, and watch what doors he will open.

Yesterday we had a great day preaching at Faith Bible, we’re pretty sure they will extend a call to me to become their full time pastor this coming Sunday.  The more we’re there, the more I enjoy this small group of people.

I’m looking forward to getting back into ministry on a regular basis and being able to minister once again and to have them minister to us. Theres no greater joy than to open Gods Word and teach people about our Lord and Savior.

When we got home our kids and my daughters fiancée Joey, and our niece Christen were there to greet us and to spend 4th of July together.  Their all nuts and so I as the mature leader of our family have to keep things in check and safe.

We always have some fireworks that sometimes gets out of control, because my kids just aren’t careful like me.

One year we almost set the house on fire, because as I showed them that you have to nail some of those flaming twirling things down so they won’t fly off and hurt someone, but I didn’t notice all the leaves under our WOODEN DECK,  thank God for water hoses,

This year we did better, only burnt a hole in our shed, our daughters foot, sons finger,  dented our house and almost blew my shorts off!!  Yep its a good thing I keep them under control and safe, its my job!

Other than that a normal weekend!  But we enjoy getting together and it is a real stress reliever and every once in awhile you have to relieve that stress.

Everyone of us are under stress everyday, from our jobs,  watching the news about our Socialist president and his henchmen, our bills, our future and all sorts of other things that creep up on a daily basis.

Our kids have stresses from attending college, everyday the things that they have to learn and get finished in a certain time builds up to a boiling point in their lives.

Our oldest son who is a deputy gets confronted with scenes that can cause nightmares, he has to deal with crime, dope heads, accidents, stupid people and death.

Death is probably the hardest thing to deal with as a cop or as a pastor.  He deals with the shock of the moment and I deal with the emotional aftermath.

One of the hardest things to deal with is the death of children. We live in a sick society that kills our children inside the womb as well as outside the womb. To come upon an accident where children have been killed or in a backyard where a child has been murdered is a horrendous scene.

Its a part of every cops job that can cause the greatest amount of emotional upheaval, especially if they have children of their own, it hits home in their hearts.

But we don’t think about it, but we should thank God that we have police who tenderly and lovingly take care of those children with respect and dignity.  That we have men and women officers who are willing to put aside their own personal feelings and deal with a situation so that child can be taken care of.

Its our officers that at times have to swallow hard, suppress their own emotions in order to deal with a situation that they didn’t cause nor wanted to ever be apart of, but there they are in the mist of it.

My wife and I both pray for our son and all officers that God will give them the strength to do their ministry, because even if they don’t recognize it, they are ministers, ministering to a lost and sinful world.

I believe children at a young age are still under Gods provisions for heaven, and when they are killed, they go immediately to heaven, just as David said when his infant baby died, he can’t come to me but when he (David) dies he can go to him.

So an officer is taking care of one of Gods children, and we need to thank them for their service.

As a minister I also have to deal with death at funerals, swallowing hard and keeping my emotions reigned in, and the stress can get to you. There have been times after a funeral that I’ve just preached for someone that I’ve broke down.

But you keep going and you pray for Gods strength and he does give it, something that I remind myself of,  God told us that he will never give us anything more than what we’re able to bear.

When we’re in those times of stress, we have to remember that we can handle it, God said that if we’re in a situation that he has ordained us being there. And if he has ordained us to be there, then he will see us through.

What we have to do is keep focused on who it is that we are serving in those tough times, its the Lord, who has called us to a position to serve and to minister to those who need help. Its going to be tough at times, its going to cause great stress, but the rewards are worth it all.

When we get to heaven the Lord will say you helped those who could not help themselves, you gave of yourself when you thought you had nothing more to give, you sacrificed when your alter was bare.

WELL DONE THOU GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT

Its been tough trying to get on my blog and write lately, between working 40 hours plus,  getting a sermon and Sunday school lessons together for church, this has been last on my list.

Tomorrow we go as a candidate to Fulton to be voted on as their pastor, its exciting and scary at the same time. I don’t mind the commute 2 times a week, but its the preparation time thats got me nervous.

But tomorrow I’m going to be speaking on freedom.  If you listen to any talk radio or the Presidents speeches, unless your completely without any braincells at all, you have to be really concerned about where the president wants to take our country.

He’s out of the closet and its obvious that he is all about destroying the free market system that has made our nation great and prosperous and putting government in control over the lives of us Americans.

Even other socialist nations see clearly where Obama wants to take America and even they say are you CRAZY!!!

Yes, we are crazy,  but apparently allot of Americans agree with him,  but it shows us what happens to a nation who has a school system full of socialist who indoctrinate young minds into their beliefs.

We have failed at teaching our youth what freedom is, and what the American dream was all about.  And sadly if all Americans don’t wake up within the next few weeks, our demise may be cemented with no way out.

This is 4th of July weekend, where we celebrate our freedom, I find it ironic, that while we have soldiers over seas fighting and dying for our freedom, we have a president and congress doing everything in its power to destroy it here on our homeland.

These are not dumb people, they are putting people in place like the Supreme court who hate our constitution and believes it needs to be rewritten to a socialist belief, they have hired thousands of IRS agents under the guise of taking care of Healthcare,

REALLY??   It isn’t implemented fully until 2014, so what are these agents doing now?  and why did they have to be hired immediately?   Time will tell what their really up to, but I’ll put money on it, it has to do with taking more freedom especially from the churches.

What we’re forgetting the reason why God established this country, it was more than financial and material gain, it was about spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

God established us as a free nation so that we would be able to tell the world about how they can be saved and it horrifies me to see a bunch of godless preachers sitting with and agreeing with Obama and his socialist eden.

This nation was once blessed of God because we had a huge portion of people in leadership who walked with God but you can chart our downfall from 1963.

When this nation told God that he no longer had control over our bodies and we began to murder human life began our downfall as a nation and we began to lose our freedom.

Reject God means to reject his favor and blessings and eventually it leads to enslavement.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t like the idea of enslavement to our government,  I rather like the way I live, being free to talk about our Lord and free to preach from our pulpits.

Don’t be fooled like so many preachers are today thinking that we need social justice, thats nothing more that socialist enslavement.

Our government wants the borders open so they can get illegals naturalized so they can get more democratic votes that would ensure them a lifetime of power,   40 to 60 million more votes would guarantee their cause and their ability to completely overthrow our constitution.

Arizona is the battlefront and Obama can’t afford this state to succeed enforcing the law because then other states would follow suit and hurt his plan of getting votes.

Amazing isn’t it, a president who is fighting his own country,  but then again, is he really from this country?

I wonder.
