On Sunday night (seems like I’m always referring to things we talk on Sun. nights)

I asked you a question, what is your purpose?  What are we suppose to be doing while on this earth

& we all kind of looked like that deer I almost hit with his eyes in my headlights!

Gen. 1: 26-28

And God said, let us make man in our image, after our image

1^st of all we were created in – image of God = we are similar but not necessarily identical to – original

in his likeness = primarily in our spiritual resemblance

God made us to resemble him morally & rationally, in other words, he gave us brains to think, but we have to burn a few brain cells to make em work

vs;26 again

and let them have dominion over (skip down) – Earth

• word dominion = rule

whats our purpose? What are we suppose to be doing? Ruling!

God has appointed us governors of his domain

The idea of mans ruling means a fierce exercise of mastery

its active, engaged, passionate

now this language doesn’t sit well with these mamby pamby tree huggers who think that we are to serve – earth

do you ever wonder why America quit drilling for oil? Why we aren’t suppose to cut down a tree? Or go hunting?

Because in their minds, we are suppose to serve our earth who is superior to us & humans are killing it

to these tree huggers, a fierce exercise of mastery doesn’t make sense

but it does if you understand that God says we are born into a world that is at war, it makes perfect sense if we understand that God told us its our responsibility to subdue or tame – earth

we were meant to rule just as God rules over his creation

But man is forgetting about what we were created for & so for now on, whenever you think whats your purpose? Its being a ruler for God

we have to remember that we will rule over angels when we get to heaven, so I guess our life on earth is – training ground

Matt. 25

in this parable, Jesus tells about a landowner who appointed servants to care for his place while he was gone

some did, they did exactly what was asked of them, one did not

when he returned, he rewarded those who ruled well in his absence by giving them even greater authority, but – one who had done nothing received nothing from – master except condemnation

vs;21

– Lord is showing us that if we are faithful and rule well here on earth, we are going to be promoted to positions of authority when we reign with Christ throughout eternity

What will those positions be? I have no idea

maybe I’ll have – position of keeping all of your halos polished

to drive this point home, Jesus uses another parable about sheep & goats

the sheep are those who are saved & – goats are those who had rejected Christ as Savior

vs;31-33

I learned something this wk. I’ve always gotten a bit upset when – Liberals call us – religious right, they use it in a derogatory manner

but its actually an honor, when every person gets to heaven & stands before God he will take those who are saved, & place us on his right side, because we were right!

and – unsaved on his left because they are going to be left out of heaven

vs;34

& to those on his right he will say come on in you who are blessed and enjoy your inheritance in heaven

which he has prepared for us since – beginning of time

if I had known it was built that long ago, I would have moved in sooner

I hear people say all – time on TV and radio that they are proud to be apart of – left

but thats a sad statement, they have no idea of what their saying and where they will end up

someday, all these people who have been so proud to be on – left with their murder of innocent lives, – destruction of – family, immorality – sick teaching & twisting of minds

they will wake up to – reality, that they also should have made a decision to be on – right, but then its too late

So what are suppose to be doing while we’re on this earth that prepares us to rule in heaven?

Lk 10:3

Go your ways behold I send you forth as lambs among wolves

If you look at vs:1 you’ll see Jesus prepares & sends out 70 disciples, these are not – Apostles

these people are sent out to serve, these are just regular people like you & me, I know what your thinking, but pastor your not regular, your more premium, I know & thank you

but notice, he didn’t say I’m sending you out and man are you going to have a good time

your going to build a church & meet together & sing with your hands in – air & all your going to do is laugh & smile & say praise Jesus for everything

Vs;3 again, I send you out as lambs among wolves

doesn’t sound like a party to me!

Whenever you go out to serve – Lord by serving others your going to face obstacles

they’ll be those who appreciate your service & others who don’t want anything to do with you

but learning to rule is learning to continue to serve even in – face of opposition

In an interview on MSNBC with Franklin Graham, he was asked if Obama was a Christian & Franklin refused to answer & only said you would have to ask him, he claims he is

He was then asked if Santorum was a Christian & Franklin said yes, he says he has accepted Christ & his lifestyle is consistent to those who are believers

“[That's] an amazing double standard that you just applied,” said host John Heilemann. “Your reaction to the difference — The question about Rick Santorum and President Obama, I think, just exposes an incredible double standard you’re applying to those people. They’re exactly the same situation!”

co-host Alex Witt chimed in, asking, “Reverend, what about Mitt Romney…is he a Christian?”

GRAHAM: “He’s a Mormon.”

WITT: “But he‘s said that he’s part of the Judeo-Christian faith. Do you take him at his word?”

GRAHAM: “No, but most Christians would not recognize Mormonism as part of the Christian faith.”

WITT: “So, he is not a Christian?”

GRAHAM: “Of course they believe in Jesus Christ, but they have a lot of other things that we believe in, too, that we don’t accept theologically.”

Geist, once again, raised the issue and called out what he saw as a double standard,

Graham said the president’s focus is on the “Muslims of the world.”

“Under…President Obama, the Muslims of the world — he seems more concerned about them than the Christians that are being murdered in the Muslim countries,”

you could clearly hear – gasps & moans of unbelief of what was just said by – Graham by MSNBC host

But praise God, Franklin never backed down, he never showed weakness he continued to say that one has to accept Christ as your Savior

There was a time in this country when – Grahams were held in such respect that whatever they said was not challenged, not anymore

today, if you try to lead by standing on truth and beliefs based on – bible, it will be challenged

But this is our training ground, if we continue to rule our lives in harmony with Gods word, you will rule with Christ someday

Another area that we are to rule over is in our family

Lord said for us to train up a child, he didn’t say have a child, & let em do whatever he wants

he didn’t say have a child & let him become ruler of your home telling mom & dad what he will & won’t to,

- parents are to rule over – child

Prov. 17: 21

he that begetteth a fool , doeth it to his sorrow, and a father of a fool hath no joy

before we go too far with this verse, lets tie it in with

I Tim. 3: 4

God says if we don’t rule over our homes and our children, then we will raise fools who will break our hearts

look how many parents are heart-broken over – rebellion and sin of their children

& then – Lord asks us a very tough question

if you can’t even rule your household, how can you rule over my church?

& folks, if we can’t rule over Gods church here on earth, why in – world would he give us responsibility to rule in heaven

Our lives on earth is a training ground for when we get to heaven & this is also an area where many Christian women are going to lose rewards in heaven

instead of – husband ruling – home, – wife has

The wife says I’m not going to be his slave, & I don’t blame you, if I was a woman I wouldn’t want to be his slave either

But this attitude from women that they aren’t going to be ruled by a man, has come from – feminist movement who destroyed – biblical teaching of a woman and of a wife

A husband being – ruler = he is – one God is going to hold responsible for his family, not – wife

& wives need to understand this, God is going to hold us responsible

but he will also hold – wife responsible if she undermined him as – man of – home

did he love his wife as Christ loved – church?

& so she had a clear understanding that he will stand before God & give an account of how he loved her?

Did he discipline and train his children so they had a clear understanding of what a Godly man is? Or did he neglect it & raise fools?

whats our purpose?

It is to rule here on this earth so that we can rule with great responsibility when we get to heaven

matt 25: 14-30

this is – training ground, & we only have a short time to do as much as we can

 

 

 

Franklin Graham was on MSNBC and he was asked if Obama was a Christian, and Franklin refused to answer, Obama has said on a few occasions that he is a Christian.

Kind of shows you how the term Christian has been re-defined by liberals. Apparently in the deluded minds of liberals, a Christian is one who embraces socialism, dictatorship, accepts all faiths and religions into the category of “Christian”, accepts homosexuality as normal and not sinful behavior, glorifies the killing of babies and even old people and not life.

Wants and expects our children who do survive the womb to be as sexually active as possible so they can make more money off abortion

As I read my bible, these Christians who accept these things that I’ve mentioned are not the Christians that Jesus describes who are HIS followers. We stand against all of those things,  NARROW MINDED??   AMEN!!!

Biblical Christians cannot accept the beliefs and views of liberals like Obama, Pelosi or Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson, their style of Christianity is condemned by the biblical teachings of Jesus Christ.

Every-time I hear these people say they’re a Christian, it makes me want to puke.

My biblical teaching from Jesus Christ will not be accepted or tolerated by the liberals, they go against everything a liberal stands for.

Jesus never taught that citizens should destroy their own country and today thats exactly what liberals and democrats are trying to do.

I think its tragic, that people who have grown up in this country (except Obama, I can understand why he would want to) would want to destroy the land they grew up in and benefited in. 

Our only hope if this country is to survive is to accept the clear teaching of Jesus and his bible, reject our leaders desire to destroy everything good and holy.

But I must say there is one thing that I do agree with Obama on, (SURPRISE) and that is when he says that we all need to sacrifice and do our part, I AGREE!  

We need to get all of these people off the welfare roles, and get them out working doing their part, paying taxes instead of thieving off those of us who work.

We were behind a woman who had a cart full of groceries and she left without her receipt. After we got our food, her receipt was attached to ours. We looked at it and it told what was left on her welfare credit. They are given $200 bucks a week for FOOD!!

If you add in their free childcare, free medical, free schooling, and who knows what else that is free,  they’re living like kings off my pocketbook!

Its no wonder that 50% of people want to vote for the Democrats, they can sit on their butts doing nothing.

Sad,  sad day in America, the bible says they thought they were so wise, they became fools.

America has become a nation of lazy fools, enjoy the gravy train, because soon its going to stop, the piggy bank is broke, we’re just too stupid to realize it. 

Why am I being so harsh?  Because I love our country and seeing whats happening is heart-breaking,  we’ve got an entire nation going to hell when its not necessary. We have Gods Word in this country, conservative churches that preach from the Bible, and the truth of how to go to heaven.

And I love you enough to tell you theres a better way, and Jesus is the answer, he gives us life, freedom,  joy and an eternity without sin, pain or death. Just accept Jesus as your Savior.

Indifference

I’ve been telling you about things that are happening in our world that shows us that we are moving closer to – rapture of – church

we’ve covered – direction that our gov. wants to take us & – bible substantiates that these things will take place, in order for the world to become a one world order in government, finances and religion we have to move into socialism

we’ve covered how sin will increase and evil will over-run in – lives of people

but one thing I haven’t spoken much on is, what part does religion play in helping – anti-Christ come into power?

First, lets distinguish what is God ordained & what is not

some things that we have studied on Sunday nights is, when God established his church in Acts, he began it with – Jews & then opened it up to gentiles

& anyone could become apart of his church but it came with one condition that we learned in Ro. 1

You had to accept Jesus Christ as your savior in order to be a part of his church, this is why we support Israel, – gospel came to them first

Once you became a member of his church, there were certain requirements that we are suppose to do

• first one was to love – Lord, this is not lip service, but a true heart to heart deep love for our God

2^nd one was to be faithful to God, to his church & to each other

3^rd one was to read & study Gods Word so that you & I would know truth

4^th share that truth with those who are not members of his church

there are more, but I think these 4 areas are – building blocks that our faith is built on

but – church as we spoke about lst Sun. night, has not done a very good job at doing what God has asked us to do & be what he has asked us to be

& one of – basic reasons why we have not been a good representation of Gods church is because of indifference

in many ways, we have become cold and indifferent in our relationship with God, his Word, his church & with his truth

We think at times that God really doesn’t care, just look at my life or – lives of people around me, why should I care?

We think at times that nobody really loves me or will miss me at church, so why bother

we think at times, I’ve been faithful and done so many things for my church and church family, and no one notices

We think at times, I know what – truth is, but no one listens and has their own thoughts of what true, why study, why try to tell others

we become indifferent, to – things of God = unconcerned – nonchalant – listless – apathetic

Indifference hurts everything about God, his church and his people

just look at our church, 1 ½ yrs ago we averaged 12 in a service, we then rose to about 26, we are down to 19 now

could we be struggling with indifference? Have we lose our Zeal for Jesus, his church & for truth?

Its easy to always point our fingers at someone else & say their – reason why my spiritual life is suffering

- truth is, its our own fault if our spiritual life is suffering

You all probably heard about Witney Huston who died last wk.

But what many don’t know is she was raised in a Christian home, with good parents, her mother CiCi was a gospel & soul singer and was very active in her church, singing in her youth choir

her Godmother is Aretha Franklin an outspoken Christian who is not afraid to share her faith & spent time with Witney sharing things about – Lord

Witney had it all, talent for singing and acting, winning multiple awards, there was nothing in her future but fame & fortune

until she met Bobby Brown, who took that woman & led her down a drug induced spiral, out of control life, and she began to lose everything

but before we accuse Bobby Brown of destroying her life, it actually began long before she met him

As a christian girl, who knew what God would want for her, she became indifferent to God, his Word, to Faith and to his people

She had been given so much, but she made choices that sent her life to end in a bathtub

Will we see Witney in heaven? I don’t know, only God knows her heart,

but I’ll say this much

As one of Gods children, he will only allow us to go so far away from him, & after much warning and correction, he may say thats enough & call us home

I believe Elvis was saved, but – same thing happened in his life, he became indifferent to – Lord & God said thats far enough

You see, – church is Gods, he ordained it, he established it, he nurtures it, & he asks us to join him in it, in a wonderful relationship with him

And he loves us so much that he doesn’t want us to hurt ourselves with sin, so at times, he steps in

Thats why he gave us his church, to help us in our lives to stay in a right relationship

But religion, is not ordained of God, its man made

religion in of itself is indifferent to God, religion places man where God ought to be

This past wk – Presbyterian religion wants a addendum passed that condemns Israel and calls them an apartheid state & they have accused Israel of – following

Denying members of a racial group of the right to life and liberty of being a person

- murder of members of a racial group

the infliction upon the members of a racial group of serious bodily or mental harm,

the infringement of their freedom or dignity, or by subjecting them to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment;

By arbitrary arrest and illegal imprisonment of the members of a racial group

1. Deliberate imposition of living conditions calculated to cause their physical destruction in whole or in part;

2. legislative measures and other measures calculated to prevent a racial group or groups from participation in the political, social, economic and cultural life of the country

3. the deliberate creation of conditions preventing the full development of such a group, in particular by denying to members of a racial group basic human rights and freedoms, including the right to work

4. dividing the population along racial lines by the creation of separate reserves and ghettos for the members of a racial group ,

5. the prohibition of mixed marriages among members of various racial groups,

6. the expropriation of landed property belonging to a racial group or groups or to members thereof;

7. Exploitation of the labor of the members of a racial group or in particular by submitting them to forced labour;

8. Persecution of organizations and persons, by depriving them of fundamental rights and freedoms, because they oppose apartheid.

Presbyterians are accusing Israel that they are committing these crimes against Palestinians

& that is a blatant lie, Israel has for yrs protected itself from attacks from Palestine

religion is helping – homosexual agenda become a reality, liberal church after church are behind all of this and helping it get passed into law

We have all been upset about Obamas mandate on – Catholic church for contraceptives and it is an attack on religion

but lets get a bit open & honest about this

I don’t care one bit if they attack religion, I attack it everyday, but our constitution guarantees us – freedom to practice our faith & thats what upsets me

yrs ago, – Catholic Bishops made some deals with – democrats, in order to get some financial benefits for their hospitals and other ministries

they made some agreements to vote for Dems in Elections & giving them – ability to be in power and push a liberal agenda

A woman with – Catholic Bishops Administrations said: We made agreements with – devil and now – Devil has come to collect, she stated that – liberal teaching in – church has worked with 50% of Catholics agreeing with Obama

Religion will help usher in – devastating times that will occur just before – rapture takes place & so when – Anti-Christ is revealed, they will gleefully bow before him

what are we suppose to be doing til Jesus comes to get us?

Matt 24:37-39

in Noahs time, just before – flood, it was a time characterized by gross immorality, every thought & imagination was evil

they did nothing that included God, they ate & drank like dogs, they got married as though God didn’t exist & then – flood came

in our day – giving in marriage I believe is a reference to homosexual marriage, God was no where in it

in Noahs day they were warned that a flood was coming & they continued in their sin as though God would not judge them

today we have – same thing going on, we are living in a time of unprecedented immorality

I believe as bad as it was in Noahs time that grieved Gods heart that he brought destruction

its a thousand times worst today, & – reason is because back in Noahs time they never denied that God didn’t exist, they refused to obey him

today they deny that God even exists or that he’s dead

Get this on Mar 24^th – atheist are holding a woodstock type concert in Washington DC called “- reason rally” with music, comedy & speeches that will show that there is no God

this world has been warned that Judgment is coming & they continue to live in sin & immorality, as though God doesn’t exist

so what does – Lord tell us to do?
